Most of our volunteers work full-time: as teachers, pilots, social
service workers, and salespeople; for the government, non-profits,
corporations and their own companies.
Some of our volunteers work part-time, and many others are students,
retirees, community volunteers and full-time parents.
CASA of Santa Barbara County is a non-profit organization with 11
staff members.
We maintain quality standards of a maximum of 30 CASA volunteers per
case manager.
The CASA program offers initial training up to six times per year.
There are over hundreds of children in the Santa Barbara County
Juvenile Court system waiting for a CASA volunteer.
