The goal of CASA of Santa Barbara County is to prevent abused, neglected, and abandoned children from becoming lost in the Juvenile Dependency system.
Community volunteers become powerful advocates for abused and neglected children, with training and support provided by CASA.
Volunteers come from all walks of life, and have one thing in common - they care about kids. We provide training and support for the vital services our volunteers give. We need more volunteers!

Our Mission
The Mission of Court Appointed Special Advocates of Santa Barbara County is to assure a safe, permanent, nurturing home for every abused and/or neglected child by providing a highly trained volunteer to advocate for them in the court system.

You do not have to be a lawyer or social worker to be a volunteer. We welcome people from all walks of life. We are simply looking for people who care about abused and neglected children.

Finding Happy Endings...
When Anna was only 3 years old, she was abandoned by her mother and placed in a foster home. Anna showed signs of severe neglect and physical abuse - she had scars on her body and her speech was extremely limited.
